Habitat for Humanity GTA

Have some free time and want to make a difference? Meet new people, develop skills, be physically active, share your skills and experience, get out of the house, give back to your community. Habitat for Humanity GTA is looking for volunteers to help build houses, volunteer at one of their ReStores or offices, or help dismantle donated kitchens. Safety gear and training are provided.

We have a special need for volunteers at our Scarborough ReStore. When you volunteer with your local Habitat ReStore, you help families in need of a decent place to live, and the environment. Habitat ReStore is a retail social enterprise that accepts and sells quality new and used furniture and renovation materials. Proceeds from sales help build Habitat homes. Together, alongside volunteers like you, we are building homes and communities for families in need of a decent place to live. There is no prior experience required, and you will be provided with safety equipment and guidance from an experienced volunteer crew leader on site. We build 12 months of the year and 5 days a week, Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4PM. For more information email volunteer@habitatgta.ca
