ESS Support Services (Etobicoke Services for Seniors)

Senior in-person programs: assisted transportation, grocery delivery service, home support in selected seniors residences in Etobicoke, in-home respite program, overnight respite program , small group fitness classes. University Health Network’s OpenLab helps vulnerable seniors by mobilizing volunteers to deliver groceries, foodbank items and other household essentials. The service gives priority to seniors living in low-income housing.

Homemakers and nurses services

For Toronto residents who need assistance with household activities of daily living, and who have limited financial resources. You may need to pay a portion of the cost.

Sidewalk snow-clearing

City of Toronto will clear your sidewalk for free if you are over 65, and no relatives under 65 live with you. Service available in any area where sidewalks cannot be plowed.
