Small garden park on the waterfront. Designed especially for accessibility. Flat terrain, wide paths, lots of seating, washrooms, no dogs, no bikes.

Rouge National Urban Park guided walks

Park is open year-round. Check walk descriptions for difficulty level. Washrooms available May to Labour Day at some meeting locations.

Second Mile Club

Second Mile Club offers a variety of programs such as community day hospice, caregiver support, case management, friendly visiting, medical escort, respite care, in-home support and senior active living centres. The active living centres offer the following; book club, bridge, choir, fitness, folk dancing, gentle stretching, group lunches, knitting club, line dancing, movies, oil painting, open art studio, Reiki, tai chi, walking group, watercolor painting, word games. Programs are for seniors 55+ and adults with a disability. Various locations; different activities at each location.

Short, pleasant, circular self-guided nature walk on gravel path. See wildflowers, wetlands. Some very gentle slopes. No benches but washrooms in buildings on site. About 10 minutes at a leisurely pace.
